Sea buckthorn oil is pressed from the fruit of the sea buckthorn. The oil contains palmitoleic acid (omega 7), a rare fatty acid that nourishes and protects the skin. It also contains many other fatty acids and antioxidants that strengthen and protect the skin against free radical damage.
This sea buckthorn oil is 100% cold-pressed and natural. Naturally, it has a fairly strong odor because the oil has not been deodorized and no perfume has been added.
The color is a very dark orange and can also leave an orange shine on the skin (which you can wash off). It is therefore recommended to dilute sea buckthorn oil with another carrier oil to reduce the color.
Application
Apply a few (diluted) drops to your skin after cleansing before going to sleep or add to your homemade eye serum or body butter.
