Bentonite clay, also called Montmorillonite, is a very popular clay because of its purifying and detoxifying effect. It is made up of many minerals, including calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron and potassium.

Application

You can use bentonite clay:

As a detox face mask. Mix one tablespoon of bentonite clay with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, half a teaspoon of honey, and 1 drop of orange oil. Apply the mixture to the face and leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
As a detox hair mask. Mix half a cup of bentonite clay with half a cup of aloe vera juice and cup of apple cider vinegar. Apply in the hair and let it soak in for 20-30 minutes.

Mix with water or a hydrosol to the desired thickness. Apply to the skin and let it soak in, then rinse with water.
